We are just 1 ½ hours from The Ring of Kerry, Dingle, The Cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny, Galway and Waterford cities and under an hour from Cork and Shannon airports. We are your off the beaten track gateway between the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East. As the Wild Atlantic way is just 45 minutes away and we are in Ireland’s Ancient East, you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Ballyhoura Hostel Nestled in the Ballyhoura mountains, there are many activities to do including mountain biking in the biggest mountain bike park in Ireland, horse trekking, guided walks and guided night walks, shooting sports, archery, hill walking and many more. The Ballyhoura mountains boast some of the most breathtaking scenery and walking trails, many of which can be taken directly from the hostel.

Our 43 bed luxury Ballyhoura Hostel is ideal for groups to hire exclusively, giving great comfort and security to the group. All rooms are accessed with electronic key cards. The standard of the accommodation is 5* with beautiful solid hardwood beds, high-quality bedding, and really comfortable hotel grade mattresses. Our large cosy sitting room with big comfy couches by an open fire is a great space to unwind in or watch a movie after an adventurous day. We have a fully equipped self-catering kitchen or else we arrange for meals to be provided.  The dining room has solid hardwood tables and benches and doubles up as a conference area.
