FACILITIES AT BALLYHOURA LUXURY HOSTEL

Ballyhoura Hostel takes hostel accommodation to a whole new level not seen in Ireland before. All beds have been custom designed and made from solid hardwood, which together with the hotel grade mattresses and 100% Egyptian cotton bed clothes will make for a luxurious stay at a terrific value.

Communal Lounge

During the day this bright sunlit room is ideal for relaxing and reading a book or in the evening for sitting by the huge open fire and watching T.V.

Kitchen and Dining Room

A fully equipped Kitchen is available with adjoining Dining room. Tea and Coffee making facilities are also provided.

Washing and Hygiene

Fresh towels are available for hire. Showers are spacious and always hot. Hair dryers are available. Ventilated air system to all wet areas and toilets. Use of the Scandinavian wet sauna is also for hire.

This large cosy sitting room has big comfy couches by an open log fire. There is a large screen TV and guitars.

Free Wifi

Wifi is available throughout the common areas of the Hostel and is FREE to guests.

Television

Through Satellite all Irish and many international channels are available.

Board Games

To keep you entertained many board games are stocked.

Foosball Table

A great way to get to know people, challenge your new friends to a game.

Book Exchange

There is plenty of reading material and we also operate a book exchange so the list of books is always fresh and interesting.

Bike Lock-up and Storage

If you bring your own bikes, there is purpose built secure and safe storage available on site.

There is a repair and maintenance area to keep you rolling.

Laundry Services

You will have the ability to avail of our Laundry services.

Bike Hire

As a guest of Ballyhoura Hostel, you will receive a discount from ‘Trailriders‘ who hire bikes at the trials.

Drying Room

Wet clothes can be dried in our purpose built area for your comfort and convenience.

Security

Key card access provided to all guests. Luggage storage can be provided on request.

Special Requirements

All ground floor areas are wheelchair accessible and we’ll be delighted to discuss any particular needs which may aid your visit and comfort.

All areas are non-smoking with a special area provided for smokers.
