Is bed linen provided?

Yes, all the beds are dressed in 100% Egyptian Cotton Linen.

What documentation is needed to check in?

A valid passport or drivers licence is required.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in: 4p.m.- 10p.m.

Check out: 11a.m.

Can you book private or shared rooms?

No, we are operating as a private group accommodation only, until 2023 at the earliest.

Is there a curfew?

There is no curfew and each guest is given an access key card, which allows them 24 hour access to the hostel.

The Hostel & Locality

Where is Ballyhoura Luxury Hostel located?

It is located on the main street of Kilfinane, 27 miles from Limerick city, with shops, pubs, a restaurant and take away just a stroll up the street. For more info see our Getting Here page.

Can you rent the whole hostel?

Yes, the whole hostel can be taken privately for your special occasion. Just contact us to discuss contact@ballyhourahostel.ie or 063-91625

How many bedrooms are there?

There are 8 bedrooms in total. For more info, see our Rooms page.

How do you get there by public transport?

For those travelling by public transport you get here via Limerick city. The 329 bus leaves Limerick bus station for Kilfinane at 17.40 Monday to Saturday. The bus leaves Kilfinane for Limerick at 7.30am and 12 noon. There is no public bus service on a Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday. For more info see our Getting Here page.

Is there a self-catering kitchen?

Yes, there's a fully equipped self-catering kitchen available for our guests to use.

Do you hire bikes?

No we don't hire bikes but mountain bikes can be hired from www.trailriders.ie

Is there wifi available?

Free WIFI is available in all common areas.

Are towels included?

Yes, bath towels are available at reception.

Is there a place to wash clothes?

We provide a service wash only.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed
